The Potomac Patriots are proud to announce that forward Robert Dysart has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Wesleyan University.
Dysart, a Northern Virginia native, finished fourth on the Potomac Patriots USPHL-Premier team in scoring during 2017-18 with a total of 21 points in 44 games. Robert played in every game during his two seasons with the Patriots and complied a total of 19 goals and 33 assists.
“We are extremely happy for Robert and proud of his accomplishment. He is a player who can contribute in all aspects of the game and is a great competitor. Robert has been extremely committed to his development on and off the ice during his time with the Patriots, ” said Patriots Premier Head Coach Zach Vit.
“Robert has been a great asset to the Patriots organization over the past two years. He’s hard working and extremely intelligent. I know that there are great things in his future, both in athletics and academics,” said Patriots General Manager RJ Zeigler.
Wesleyan University is a private liberal arts college located in Middletown Connecticut. The Wesleyan Men’s Ice Hockey team competes in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).
