The U10 White team enlisted the help of friends and family as they participated in the Walk 4 CMT on the morning of September 28, 2019. Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease (CMT) is a disorder of the peripheral nervous system characterized by progressive loss of muscle tissue and touch sensation across various parts of the body. The Patriots wanted to support their friend Benjamin, who has CMT, and his family in a meaningful way. Ben and his family walked with the Patriots team as they made their way around the reflecting pool. Participants aimed to create awareness, renew hope and generate a community of support, while raising funds for the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association. Team Potomac Patriots raised $2,871 which was the fourth highest team total for the event.
